‘Build Your Own Solar Air Heating’ Workshop

During this workshop you will learn how to make a solar heater that will nicely heat 250 square feet.

The fee for this workshop is $195 per person (tax included).

This workshop will include the following supplies:

• Most items needed to build the panel
• Thermostat
• Plans booklet
• Hands on instruction

You will need to bring with you:

• Power drill
• Two 1/8” drill bits

Additionally, you will need to purchase prior to installation:

• Double pane glass 34” x 78”. You may purchase glass for $30 from us at time of class sign-up while supplies last.
• Metal panel 31.75” x 70” for the collector plate. (We suggest you purchase this piece after the class as there are many different options that will work. See how it goes together and make a determination on what kind of metal panel will work best for your application.)
• 160 cfm fan

Need to heat more than 250 sq ft?  You will have the plans and know how to go home and make as many as you will need for your site. Additional kits will available for $175 each (tax included) at time of workshop. Additional kits must be ordered at registration.

Class size is limited to 10 people.
